Common sense is not so common. -Voltaire

Today we are going to write about this quote from Voltaire. To us this quote means that even though  common sense is used by people in way to figure out what they should do when they are having trouble figuring things out they do not use common sense in other words they do not think before acting, and we can relate to it since we make the wrong choices and do not think about the consequences it brings us.  We must always take into consideration the risk and consequence of our actions before we do certain things. We think the quote also means when you have to make a certain decision you don’t always use our common sense to figure it out. Aside from decision making common sense also comes in hand while figuring out the answer to specific questions with the most obvious answer but we just don’t know it’s that simple. Sometimes we don’t think about our actions and we tend to do something rash without thinking ahead of time, in other words we can be over our heads. We picked this quote because we want to let people know that even though they think they are making the right choices they need to know that even thought they think that at the end after they might not be doing so.

Excel

This  program  is very useful when it comes to organizing and making calculations for something you need .I am a new user to Excel and the times I have used it has helped a lot and it make thing easier like calculating the average amount of something and also by graphing things .When you use Excel you can right away see how it works and there are a few tricks to it like you can input all the information like to record something and Excel can make the calculations faster that s what I like about this Program that it can Analyze any mistake you make and autocorrect it or show you what is wrong in the data . The simple things you can you do in your head like adding subtracting and dividing is much simple now because you get the right answer and formula to do it for you. You can also be creative and do a graph presentation. Some techniques I like is that in Excel you can do multiple things at the same time. Like you can get information on to your  computer and start to set it up how you want it .I  done charts in Excel also you can add and play around with your information like organize them in a different way so you don’t have to change things one by one.

Google Maps 6.0 includes indoor mapping

Google has created an inside mapping were people can easily connect from their phones and view were inside the store things can be found like an exit or an  atm .It is very interesting how things can be much easier to find inside a big mall instead of having to walk around  asking people were you are. At the same time I think it can be kind of odd because what if people tried to get in and hack the hold system for a mall or some company? Can this happen I guess we will have to see what happens with this.

Network Neutrality

Network neutrality means that major companies can’t buy off a provider with money just to get put up on the market and get proportioned off by having their apps or downloads be faster than other companies are. The only thing being done by this is that companies are playing favorites and getting money from other providers so they can get more viewed by the people who are paying for the services. I stop to think and I say that it showed be equal for all services to let the people view all sorts of things and rate on what is going on .We would be able to become more aware of what is going on around us so why should this be implemented that Providers control how downloads and other things in our technology works by making connections slow or just not providing the access for some sites.

          A new Body scanner took away the UK  this was made so you would be able to make shopping faster well at least I think because it’s just like a regular changing room .The only difference is that it scans your body and tells you your exact clothing size .I see how useful  this can be because there are some people that do not like to be spending all the time looking for something perfect that fits them while you  do not even know your own size of clothes and you would be trying on things that  are not  your size .I like the fact that it’s easy to install of course but its cost it pricey . This would make a good use here because there  would be no fuzz about people not finding the exact size for them and  worrying about how they look at all .People would go crazy if something like this was not there don’t you think?  Think it’s great because I wouldn’t be stuck in line waiting for the fitting rooms to be available and worrying about going in and out trying things that I think would fit me perfectly.

 A cover letter is based on a set up of your information and work experience and salutation and closing and your signature and employer contact information the cover letter is for jobs I guess mainly used for that. The difference between a resume and a cover letter would be that a resume is built up by your  experiences in  jobs u have had any achievements and the basic some background information about yourself and this is used for like  jobs and  high school. The similarities are somewhat would be the format it is used because it  for the cover letter u might want to put is as simple as possible just like your resume you just want to be a little brief on what you are putting .I really see both formats the same because they just make it simple to put things that want to mentioned and real brief. So the cover letter is like an introduction to what you are going to show on your resume.

Based on what the article it was about how it impacted us to know and hear about the 9/11 incident. The given information was brought up from certain technology that we have today and it’s surprising that people can get information on what’s going on from other places throughout the internet, news radio and phones. Ones of the most impact was what happened on 9/11 when we had a site of a terrorist attack that was the most devastating situation while when we take a look at what happened and how the current news got through the media to the public view.
Technology played a big role in the incident happening and also on how the news got out to the public imagine if we had no idea what was going on while the 9/11 incident occurred we would have had no say  on what actually happened that day. While now people have an instant view on everything through the new technology now so there is always going to be a way of knowing what’s going on.
                                                                                                          
Most viewable things that has or can be accessible to view on the internet would be social sites that come up with new current blogs or news such as facebook, twitter these main things as little as they can we hold a daily basis on our life for the fact that we use them and know how well to use the sites. The thing that all this has in common is that a build of information given and the reliability people have on these sites. so you can have a main idea on how technology has an impact on sending news feed.
